About the School

McAuley College is the newest Catholic secondary school in the Scenic Rim. We opened in 2017 with only Year 7, and next year will have nearly 400 students from Years 7 to 12. The College has always been small in size but huge in spirit and opportunity.

As we have designed the pathways across our Senior Years, this has been heavily shaped by student voice. With each cohort, we identified their strengths, interests, and aspirations across the early years, as part of our intentionally planned and explicitly delivered Vocational Program.

Two pathways of ATAR and Vocational, are mapped to blend a range of options for each individual student which will best cater to their post school goals, whilst keeping doors open for other opportunities. We have been proud to partner with local businesses and TAFE to expand these opportunities for our young people and walk our talk of being able to serve our community.

Identifying future employment opportunities locally, such as Health and Agriculture, have also shaped our curriculum design, so we see more young people seeing the Scenic Rim as a place to live, work and play.
