Your workplace could be a hospital, medical practice, pathology collection centre or in some cases, a patient’s home or within an aged care facility.

You will need nimble and steady hands to safely collect blood specimens with a needle. You should enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of compassion to be able to guide people through the collection process. Having excellent attention to detail is important for record keeping in this role.
