CheckUP are inviting schools from across Queensland to apply to the Health Gateway Program.
Eligible schools include those which are:
- Currently engaging with local health industry providers OR
- Providing students access to career pathways in health (through VET, work experience programs etc) OR
- Working towards establishing industry relationships and health career pathways for students.
An Application Process has been established to gather some initial information from schools. Completion of a Gateway Activity Plan is also required in order to consolidate all relevant education and industry activities and connections.
The Gateway Partner Benefits Statement details the benefits for each participating stakeholder group. This includes Health Gateway schools students, teachers and VET staff as well as health care organisations and health education providers.
